Also note that unless you use P2, a twitter-like theme, comments are collapsed on the front page of your blog where our posts are "showcased". The way the comments function is coded into the core of WordPress and we cannot chnage this. By clicking the post title or the comments link the posts on the front page open on their own page where all comments display.

That is not possible. It's not a CSS issue; it's a theme function issue, and we can't configure that here.

Once you start getting lots of comments, you'll see the wisdom of this. I have several posts that have over a hundred comments and NOBODY would scroll all the way past that many comments. Not even a dozen in most cases.

Hi all,

I am brand new to WordPress and just purchased the CSS customization but have no idea how to use it. I have found some helpful tutorials in terms of what code means, but I don't know where or how to actually edit the specific things I want to change. At the moment my main concern is figuring out how to display the option to comment on the homepage (right now you have to click on individual posts to leave a comment). I have seen posts in this forum that explain how to do it using CSS, but they are way over my head. Can anyone explain with extreme baby steps? (ie. click on x, copy y, paste z, etc.) I am trying to learn but am really starting from scratch with no HTML or CSS knowledge. I am using the Forever theme and the site is fortheloveofawesome.ca Thank you so much!!!

Kelly
