well, I suppose you do have a wordpress.com blog (and your blog URL is..?)

just yesterday I've met a guy over here in forums who does exactly podcasts on his WP.com blog [ http://stusshed.wordpress.com/ ]. I guess you might like to visit his blog to see how he's managing it and may be leave a couple of questions in the comment box.

and, yes there's no way to have uploaded files links to be published anywhere on a blog automatically -- you need to author either Posts or Pages to insert them over there.

see also a FAQ blog {*waves* to timethive} for 'Category'; sorry for being a little terse, I hope for other forum's volunteers will be more helpful -- bump your question with possibly more details again.

> how do i get the uploads to show up in the archives section in wordpress?

do you have a wordpress.com blog?

if you do --it's possible to assign all your posts containg links to uploaded files an apropriate 'Category', then you can use a theme which supports Page Archive:Template, there will be a *link* to that Cat. (among all other ones).

otherwise manually, copy/paste.
