hey, timethief!
thanks again for your help. yes, i have that format option as viewable. but, it only shows one option, standard. don't see the 6 others as shown on the twenty eleven theme description page.
i'm also wondering if twenty eleven theme allows for a different static page other than the blog posts. i know i can put my other pages (work, about, etc.). but, i'd like to have a better intro page to set as static. guess i can figure that one out.

How do I get the post format options in the twenty eleven theme? I see the widget, but the only option I have is "standard." The page that describes the format options show an additional six. Is this a custom upgrade feature??? Thanks.
