Quick question, one to which I am pretty sure the answer is "no", but I thought I'd just check.

Is there any way to automatically redirect on post to another (or page)?

The backstory:
I am considering purchasing a particular premium theme, one with a Featured Posts slider in it. This slider is fed from posts with a specified tag. I (ideally) would want the slider fed from certain Pages rather than actual posts, but seeing as WordPress doesn't let you tag pages that isn't going to work.
So, it occurred to me that a solution might be to feed the slider with posts that when clicked on automatically redirected to the relevant Page.
Then it occurred to me that "nah, WordPress aren't going to allow you to do that (mainly, I presume, because of the amount of abuse a feature like that would be open to)".
But I thought I'd check with you lot anyway.
