https://dailypost.wordpress.com/2012/12/17/daily-prompt-forever-young/

Instead of this:

http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2012/12/17/daily-prompt-forever-young/

I'm not quite sure why it makes a difference, or why you're ending up on the secure version of the URL at all. I'll report it to the team. Meanwhile, make sure to use the link starting with http instead of https and your pingbacks should work :-)

I've just opened a support ticket for you so that I can troubleshoot this further.

For anyone else who happens to read this thread and have the same problem of missing pingbacks, please go ahead and post to this thread with the details, including:

* the post on your own blog where you made a link
* the post on another blog that you linked to

Note also some common reasons for pingbacks not to happen include:

* the blog is set to private or to block search engines
* the pingbacks/trackbacks option is disabled for the blog or for the individual post
