May I suggest that you use an offline blog editor? Using one to create your posts and pages in and to publish from to your blog means you will have a backup of everything you create on your own computer.

Avoid using drafts: when you create a new post, write a couple of words, turn the visibility to private, publish the post, keep writing and updating, turn to public when finished.

The first time I thought I must have hit something accidentally and re-wrote the entire thing from memory. Then I hit "Preview" and the whole blog went blank, save the title. As you can imagine this is EXTREMELY frustrating. I don't want to write it again because I don't have time and it might be pointless. Can someone please help me figure out what's wrong? In case it matters I'm on a Mac 10.6 and using Firefox 11.0.
