I try to customize what appears to be a free theme and then I get that "buy now" thing...huh?

I start to create a blog, but then it says "buy now" with no cost given??? I just want to create a blog for free, but you take me through in an awkward manner, I want to see my various theme choices, but you show 6, one of which is $75 dollars?!?
