Bottom line - if you want something to be private don't put it on the internet and if you do have a Private members only blog - which defeats your want to speak out

i don't want to link my job to my blog. I want to speak openly about my work and experience...i do NOT want google to display my blog in a search..

Also note that Google only flushes their caches every 3 - 6 months so the indexed content is not going to disappear quickly from search results.

I looked into password protected blogs but most of them required people to register, which I know realistically will reduce ease of accessibility and readership. I would love if I could make it so only people with the URL can access my blog...is this possible? Much appreciated!
