Your stats have some peaks, and quite a few valleys, so some abnormality is expected as many discover your new blog and some decide to stick around.

Also, keep in mind that there is more to your blog than just posts and pages, so your total views will never be the sum of your top posts and pages views.

babso2you, not everything is in real-time. The Likes counter on the actual post itself is the most accurate.

I'm running windeows XP which is of course over a decade old do I can't upgrade my browser from IE8 to IE9. That said, I stopped using IE browsers excpet to help others here when the version was IE6. I intsalled Firefox and have never looked back. I never ever experience theses issues. If you want to try Firefox 14.0.1 you can get it here.

As an example, it will say that X,Y and two other people liked your blog on Stats. When I look at the all posts, the counter there shows that I have 10 likes. And the number that comes through on email notifications is different too. Why is that?

Also, is the number of views counter working correctly? I was having an upward trend in the number of views on my blog. Lately the numbers are half of that. I have almost 300 followers by email subscription, and I would think that this would drive up the number of views. Instead it has diminished.

Hello there,
Do you happen to be using IE9 in compatibility mode? If you are that renders as IE7 and IE7 is not supported so disable it. Also try disabling all browser add-ons and extensions. For example, last week it showed that I had 24 views in one day but then it listed one old article that I posted as being viewed. And yesterday, I had 19 views, but showed only two articles as being viewed, and neither one them was one that a new follower had commented on. I'm starting to doubt all of my hits now.
