FALSE. We do have control over it... that's what the og:image meta property is for.

If I share the post directly with facebook as a link, it pulls the correct image... if I use publicize it does not.

This tells me publicize is doing something different.

Unfortunately, we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include. http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/avalaible-facebook-thumbnail-issue?replies=7#post-1000734

I set sharing so that my posts are automatically shared in my FB profile. However, it only shows text (Title plus some text), no gravatar, logo or image (I use the same image for gravatar and blog logo)

The funny thing is that if I do it manually from FB, i.e. Share the link as a post in my timeline, it does pick up the image.

How can fix this?
