Two minutes? It takes longer than that to boil an egg. Give the volunteers here a break.

If you are hosted here at wordpress.COM then you cannot advertise on your blog. It is against the terms of service. See this on adsense and other ads: http://faq.wordpress.com/2005/12/08/adsense/

If you are self-hosted then you are in the wrong forum and should be over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ . Since you did not give a link to your blog, I have no way of knowing if you are in the right forum or not.

<img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/ad_top.jpg" alt="" /> This line is common when a theme is ready to use advertisements. You see 125x125 or 100x100 images ready to link to another site. What does this mean? How can I use this link to connect to a CB ads script? CB ads are like Google in that you get a script to place on your web pages. I want to use the link above to connect to a script instead of placing it in the html code. Anybody know how to do this?
