As for option b, you'd need to create a custom style for your poll instead of using one of the ready-made ones.

PS You'd better make your username link to your blog (Users > Personal Settings: scroll down to Account Details, paste your blog URL in the Website field, click save Changes).

Have you tried using the HTML editor and placing it between div tags?

Could someone help me to either a.) center the poll, or b.) have the poll expand to meet the width of the column.
