no retroactive = not retroactive

When that is done, they get a screen that says "shickshinny.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this blog." Which happens to be correct. But if it's technically been deleted, why does this happen?

If you only have a single username account then clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

Do you see the deleted blog there?

The following change is no retroactive.

Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Primary Blog‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

Hi. I recently changed my URL, almost a month ago. Every time I leave a comment on another WordPress blog, it is signed "footinthebucket", as it should, but when anyone clicks it, it takes the person to my OLD URL. When that is done, they get a screen that says "shickshinny.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this blog." Which happens to be correct. But if it's technically been deleted, why does this happen? Why doesn't "footinthebucket" take a person to "footinthebucket.wordpress.com ", which is my blog? I am not very technically adept, so if you happen to answer this question, could you write it very simply? Otherwise, I won't be able to understand it! Thank you in advance!

Glen
