I deleted the blog from whatever account I registered it with. I mostly want to free up the URL. Is this possible?

I checked out these options and am still having some trouble.
I think it is because, although the blog exists, I removed it from the dashboard of the account that I registered the blog under in the first place.
In other words, currently, the blog is not attached to any dashboards... is there a way to link it back up so I can then make the transfer?

There is a process for transferring a blog to another username account. First you must log in under the username account that registered the blog.
