When I post to facebook, I go to the post and hit the facebook share button. So far, it has shown up on my timeline intact, title and all. Hope this helps.

Put the title in as text in the comment box as a workaround.

Reblogs post as Asides, and also don't get any of the built-in sharing options.

Thanks for the reply, but what does the reason that reblogs dont have titles have anything to do with the publishing in Facebook?

Surely there would be some merit from realising that a reblog - designed for promoting blogs amongst blog sites and blog entries - should perhaps be slightly modified when being published outside of the traditional blog environment?

While the usability of a reblog in a blogging environment is fine without a title, the same in the Facebook environment is less than ideal... in my opinion anyway.

Normal posts published to facebook look great and work perfectly in comparison.

When reblogging, the posts actually reblog without a title.

It's basically a title-less post with only your comment as content and the actual post embedded above it.

We do this for a variety of reason, most importantly the different display of reblogged posts for the clear ownership of the original posts.

Hey,

Tried the reblog the other day (reblog example)) and noticed that the reblog publishing to Facebook has no title.. so people see "(no title)" in the Facebook posting.

After checking the reblog post manually (via my wp-admin) shows that there is no title but adding one here does not update the Facebook posting...

Would like to use Reblogging but if its gonna muck up the publishing to Facebook then there is not much point in using it.
