<p>The wordpress Recent Posts widgets displays Recent Posts and automatically updates when you publish. It does not display static Pages. <a href="http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/recent-posts-widget/" rel="nofollow">http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/recent-posts-widget/</a></p>
<p>If you wish you can create your own widget by using a Text Widget and entering the titles linked to the appropriate URLs but it will NOT automatically update. You will have to update it manually.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I am currently using the recent post widget, but is there a way to get it to display recently added pages as well, or do i need a seperate widget... does said widget even exist?  Basically I want to be able to have an automated recent updates (regardless of page/post/link/etc. in the side bar.) an ideas?
