A Links widget will display the links you enter into your dashboard Links section when you create a Blogroll. It does not display links to the most recent posts on the blogs your enter. It displays only links to the blogs.
create a blogroll http://en.support.wordpress.com/blogroll/add-a-blogroll-link/
display it in a Links widget http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/links-widget/

I'm using the Twenty Twelve theme and would like a widget that would list recent posts of a different blog. However, if it's available, I'm not able to pick it out of the list of widgets. Could someone suggest a way for me to do this?
