I'd just make a post saying that you've moved to a new location and provide a link. If a visitor liked your old blog, they'll follow.

Can I automatically redirect from wp.com to my new host?
Some weeks ago I had inserted the following code in the weblog title:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url=http://www.lucacicca.it">

Now this trick is dead.
There is another way to insert that code?
