I've had a blog on wordpress.com and am in the process of migrating it a new wordpress.org site hosted at 1and1. I've followed all the instructions. ie. exported/imported posts. I've paid $12 domain remapping fee. Updated the 1and1 nameservers with the wordpress addresses. Everything worked fine for about 20mins. hd420p.wordpress.com was redirecting to hd420p.co.uk nicely. I presume that the DNS has now repl'd properly because everything is pointing back at wordpress.com. Problem is I cannot change the DNS back to 1and1 nameserver in the 1and1 control panel. Does that make sense. I appreciate this is not a wordpress issue. Just curious if anyone has had the same issue using 1and1? Is it just a case of waiting a few hours and then I should be able to change settings again?
