<p>It closes the gap, but you may find that you start getting overlap if your content runs long, so I would probably do one or the other of those, personally, instead of both.<br />

<p>I was wondering if anyone could help me remove the redundant space at the bottom of the Twenty Twelve theme when comments are disabled?</p>
<p>See <a href="http://timeimage.org.uk/our-work/" rel="nofollow">http://timeimage.org.uk/our-work/</a> for an example – the space between the two horizontal lines is what's bothering me. I think it would normally be occupied by comments, but I don't want comments on the static pages.</p>
<p>Any help is much appreciated.
