I checked the sidebar at http://girlinflorence.com/ and I see you were able to find images to user for your Pinterest, StumbleUpon, and Flickr social media buttons. It looks nice!

WordPress.com is working on a way to add related posts. It's not ready yet, but watch the news blog at http://en.blog.wordpress.com/ if you're interested in seeing the news about it when it comes out.

1) I think I have this activated already on my blog. girlinflorence.com

BUT it's only text, is it possible to add the image thumbnail like 'link within' or 'yet another related posts plugin' like you see on blogger or wordpress.org? People are much more likely to click on a thumbnail photo.

2)thank you! , I am seeking just the sidebar. that part I get :-) (that it needs to be inside a text widget) but do you have any links as far as the design - a streamilined one of the image of each social follow button. That's what I am having problems doing :-(

1) Related Posts is not a CSS function at all. If you want related posts, enable Zemanta as a browser add-on, and choose the links by hand for each post.

2) Do you want them on each post, or in your sidebar? If you want them on each post, what you need is on the dashboard Settings->Sharing page. If you want them on your sidebar, you need to write the text widget yourself. Find the link to each of your accounts and a logo or image you want for each different platform. Then you can make a text widget. There's a shortcut: compose it in the Write Post page, and you can use the visual editor to tweak the appearance. Once it's right, click to the Text editor and copy all the code. Then paste that into the text widget.

Hello all, I am really interested in figuring out two main (and pretty huge) issues with my otherwise great wordpress.com upgrade. What I am basically looking to do is to insert a link within code into my css in order to access "related posts" in which 3 or 4 related posts from my blog attached using similar tags/categories. Can you help with that?

Question two. I would like to add some additional social follow buttons, like pinterest, stumbleupon, flickr etc, I already have facebook, twitter, and google plus. I just want a streamlined file of buttons side by side and know that I need to insert them all in a text widget, can you guys help?

thanks so much in advance!
