But naturally there should be no "Leave a Comment" link when commenting is disabled. That's an oversight in this theme, so you should also report it to staff for the benefit of all users:

I've disabled the ability to comment in my "Discussion" settings, but I don't know how to remove the "Leave a Comment" link in the WordPress Classic theme. I could change the color in the CSS

but I don't want to hide any links that I might put into the post myself; I just want to remove this particular "Leave a Coment" link from all posts. How do I do that?

If you see no Discussion module while on the page editor screen, click Screen Options (top right) to enable it.
