I have set up my blog to work more like a website using a static front page. I directed my "posts" page to be a page I created named "recent posts". When I created the "recent posts" page, I chose the templates "Full Width Page" option in hopes that my posts page would not have the widget sidebars. However, the sidebars do show up.
