No, Chrome users that do not have the add-on installed are the only ones that will NOT be able to see and subscribe to your RSS feed. All the browsers in the entire universe can display an RSS feed. Except Chrome. (One of the numerous reasons I won't use Chrome.)

Thanks! thesacredpath for the prompt response! what i'd like to know is if others are not using chrome, will they be able to subscribe to the blog via RSS or will they be seeing the same coding when they click on the RSS icons. I have removed the icons temporarily.

You are obviously using Chrome as your browser and the g00g, in their infinite wisdom (sic) chose not to include an RSS feed reader in their browser. It will go down as one of the great mysteries in the history of the world.

You need to either sign up for an online feed reader service such as Google Reader, or you need to install an add-on feed reader in Chrome. You can find some by Googling for one.

I am very new to wordpress and blogging, learning each day.
I added RSS posts and RSS comments widget to my blog http://studyincanadablog.wordpress.com/ . I logged out of my account and then went on the blog to check how the RSS works, when I clicked on it, it gave me a lengthy coding. I dont'k that is how it is supposed to work. I'd like to know what is it that needs to be done to make it work.

Thanks!
