As I do too, 1tess ! I have an extensive style sheet of much-used formats in a text doc on my desktop, but it's still a copy-and-paste faff every time in the html editor. The "Select colour" button is so much swifter when it does offer the exact colour you want: two clicks = job done.

It seems to me a save-colour routine would be a logical next step after using the Picker to establish the desired HEX number.

Sounds like an interesting idea.

I also use a lot of colors, and I keep a list of my color schemes in a plain text document for reference. I copy code snippets, like a span with colored text, or a div with a colored background. Then it's easy to copy and paste the HEX into the appropriate place (in the html editor, of course).

Is it possible to save a chosen colour, once you have created it by entering the relevant HEX number in the dropdown box which offers a "Picker" after you've clicked the "Select text colour > More colors" button over a post? Yes, the new choice is saved momentarily as the default colour, but it is lost the moment you select any other colour (I use <span> commands quite frequently). So the next time you need the custom colour, you have to click through the dropdown options and re-enter the HEX code.

If it isn't currently possible to save a chosen colour, as described, is it possible to put in a request for a save routine to be added to the text colour tool, please?

Thanks - Shapersofthe80s.com
