I would like to get rid of the "featured image". Anyone have any ideas? I just don't want to use it, on some posts. When the area is blank, telling the computer what image to use, it ends up having a weird gray box in place of the featured image. I want to get rid of this. The reason being, I want to add micro-blogs. Like you would see on Facebook status updates. But I love everything else on the theme. So I don't want to change the theme.
