I cannot see a maximum number re: posts that can appear in the post slider on the theme description page. I take it that you have tried to create more than 6 featured posts to appear in the post slider. Is that correct?

From the theme description: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/oxygen/
Keep in mind: if you mark a post as Sticky but the featured image is less than 750 pixels wide, then it won’t display in the slider and will still disappear from the river of posts.

In Oxygen, there is no way to show posts in both the post slider and the Recent Articles area. It's been designed to not to have duplicated posts on the page. Also note there is no option to display more than three Recent Articles on the Showcase Page template.

Hello!

Does anyone know if there is a chance to extend the number of shown showcase stories in the slider from currently the recent six stories to more?
