Is you question in this thread about a CSS editing issue? It doesn't seem to be. It seems to be a question aboput how to use the Twenty Eleven theme which is not coded to display sidebars on single posts when displayed on their own pages. Please read this article

Also none of the tags created on a post show up. In the sidebar heading “TAGS”

You've opted to use the Tag Cloud widget, but tags will only show up for published posts and you don't have any publicly viewable published posts on your blog yet.

The widget titles are quite small, not reflecting the 10px size that’s in the original css.

The widget titles are very small because you set the font size for Headings on the Appearance → Custom Design → Fonts page to "-7", and that setting affects all headings, including post and widget headings.

That may have been intentional if you wanted the post headings much smaller than their original size. In that case you can keep that setting as is and add the following to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS to override font size just for widget headings:

.widget-title {
font-size: 10px !important;

still remains the same, illegible.
