See here too > Why don’t post/page views add up to total views?
Post/page views are included in total views, but there are many views to your site that are not a post or page URL. The front pages, category/tag/date/author archives, and searches are all examples of other views that only count towards total views.

Why doesn’t the number of referrers add up to the number of total views?
Not all visitors will land on your blog by clicking a link somewhere else. Visitors may type your URL directly into the web browser, click a link in an email, or click a link in another application which then loads the browser.

Thanks. But they are reading the article and clicking like. It's funny WordPress won't count those as views as well. :-O

Could be that people are "liking" your post directly from the topics page and not visiting your actual blog. That happens a lot, and you don't get pageviews if someone reads your post on the topics page or in their reader.

05-25-12 @ 7:26pm P.D.T.

Recently, maybe in the last 2 months or less I've been seeing site statistics not lining up with people who are clicking [Like]. For example today I see 2 views for todays SITE STATS but I'm getting 20-23 likes from 20-23 people who have read the SAME bloom'n article lol lol lol. Something isn't working on WORDPRESS.COM correctly.

Please take a LQQK at your system please and maybe make some adjustments.

Thank you ahead of time, Rob Luce.
