Also note that the URLs you see on the Admin side of the blog will be the .wordpress.com sub-domain URLs. That's normal. What your visitors will see is the new domain URLs as they will be seamlessy redirected to them from the .wordpress.com subdomain URLs. Don't fiddlle them or attempt to change them.

Has it been 72 hours yet? Though it rarely takes that long for a domain name to propgate throughout the internet this is not an instantaneous process. We have no control over when each ISP chooses to flsuh their DNS caches.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/

5. To activate your new domain, select the button next to the one you wish to activate and click Update Primary Domain. Your blog will be accessible from both of these domains; the Primary Domain is what actually appears as your domain within the address bar of web browsers. If you do not see your blog at the new domain immediately, please allow some time for the DNS changes to propagate. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/register-domain/#instructions-for-registering-a-new-domain-for-your-blog

I am in Canada on the far west coast and the domain is already mapping correctly for me. Please just relax and do not fret about this. You can watch the progress here >
