To remove the black border and background from the WordPress.com slideshow feature, add this to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor:

.slideshow-window {

I've just upgraded to CSS for my twenty eleven theme. I want to add a slideshow to my homepage, but don't like the big black surround it comes with. Anyone know if it's possible to remove the surround altogether? Many thanks for any help! ( for http://www.isabelashdown.com )
