Stop posting answers to questions you have no answers or useful information for. I can understand your willingness to help, but providing inaccurate answers is not useful to the original poster, nor help for anyone else reading the thread looking for information about a similar question.

For example, this is only speculation (in 'innocence"?) on your part:

Hi Giulio. Remove the quotation marks and it should work just fine (I tried it):
$latex \frac{\sin(x) - \sin(x)}{x} \asymp_{0} \frac{(x - \frac{x^{3}}{3!} + \frac{x^{5}}{5!}) - (x-\frac{x^{3}}{3!})}{x} \asymp_{0} \frac{x^{4}}{5!}$

Ya, that looks complicated, but I think I have a solution. WordPress.com doesn't use it like you do, I think. I don't have an answer other than that.

Hi all,

I have serious problem understanding why a latex formula such:

\frac{\sin(x) - \sin(x)}{x} \asymp_{0} \frac{(x - \frac{x^{3}}{3!} + \frac{x^{5}}{5!}) - (x-\frac{x^{3}}{3!})}{x} \asymp_{0} \frac{x^{4}}{5!}

does not parse in wordpress.com

I'm using the online posting (so i actually write $latex "latexformula" $ ). All the branches of this equation correctly parse if posted alone.

What is the problem?

P.S. Obviusly I know that the equation makes no sense, it was a undergrad intended example of a mathematical monstruosity.
