Interestingly enough, I can't get the twitter link to work at all. I can get the RSS link to work, but not twitter. I tried in Safari and also in Firefox.

Do to the way this theme is designed (no overall main parent contaniner div) moving those up to the menu bar would not work. What would happen is the images would shift up or down in relationship to the rest of the content depending on whether someone was logged into wordpress (admin bar present) or not logged in (admin bar not present).

There is another trick that can be used where you restyle and move a text widget up and into that position, but the same shift in relationship would occur with this solution as well.

My suggestion would be to put RSS and twitter linked images into a text widget and put that text widget at the top of the sidebar, or perhaps in second position right below you follow widget.
