I see that you purchased A Simpler Time for http://artsblurb.wordpress.com and then returned it. When you activated that theme on your blog, I think it should have looked similar to the demo you can see at http://asimplertimedemo.wordpress.com/

Sounds like maybe another setting or font choice might have been causing the trouble before.

If you take a look at at the live preview for A Simpler Time in your blog dashboard, does it look good there? Here is a direct link:
https://artsblurb.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?theme=premium/a-simpler-time

I'd be happy to help you take a closer look if you'd like to try out the theme again.

Hi, I just purchased a theme for my blog, and now wondering if I was a little impulsive and should have stuck with my freebie. I am mostly happy with it, but to me, when I look on the home page the titles for each of my posts that come up are either all squashed, or tops cut off the letters. It seems to be set not to go across the whole post window, so I tried shortening one of the posts, yet that didnt solve much.

The thing is if I click through to the actual post page, the titles are ok, if taking up a fair bit of room. Is there anything that can be done. I'm not overly impressed after spending £39 on the theme for the first impression not to be good, and dont really want to spend any more money.
