To be clear likes and shares are misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can "like" and "share" your posts in several locations without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat. Those who have username accounts only but no blog can become followers and click the "like" and/or "share" buttons. Those who do not have accounts cannot use the like button. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/07/09/wordpress-followers-likes-and-stats/

My stats counter is at 4 views for today, and its been stuck there since this morning. Since then, I've published a post that (from the social share buttons), I can see has been viewed at least once from twitter and once from linkedin. Therefore, the count should have at least moved up to 6, right? Are stats not working, or is there an issue with my blog alone? (www.kagalgano.wordpress.com)
