Hi!

Measuring stats for website visits will always be an innacurate affair, for various reasons. For a quick primer into why this is so, have a look at these articles:

http://www.sitepoint.com/website-statistics-reports-wrong-1/
http://www.sitepoint.com/website-statistics-reports-wrong-2/
http://www.sitepoint.com/website-statistics-reports-wrong-3/

To find out more about how our stats are measured and reported, see the following help page.

This is not a question as much as a comment. The stats page numbers are not accurate. Maybe you already know this. Because my blog is so new , the numbers of visitors and views are low and therefore it is easy to see errors. For example, today at one point my stats read 2 visitors 4 views. The views by country showed 2 views USA, 1 view Bosnia, 1 view Greece. Unless someone is jetting around the world, that has to be at least 3 visitors, one from each country. Sometimes the visitor number will go up and the views number will stay the same. As far as I can tell, a new visitor has to view something. Maybe in the big picture only so much accuracy is necessary. But if there are these discrepancies with my small numbers, I am guessing that bloggers with high traffic may have bigger discrepancies. Thank you . Wendy Sondov @ themondaybox.com
