This is always interesting to me how getting support here for a self hosted site is out of the question when someone could possibly answer the question or at least confirm the problem. We filthy self-hosted people have no business here. I just wish that wordpress.com results wouldn't come up first on google searches. It's not only a waste of my time to come here but it makes me angry too.

We WordPress.com Volunteers have been told to refer folks with Jetpack issues over to the existing Jetpack forum at WordPress.org, since it would be easier to keep support focused in one place as much as possible: http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack

If I log into wordpress.com I can view my stats just fine, but if I try to view them through my dashboard or jetpack->site stats I get the following:

We were unable to get your stats just now. Please try again.

I just upgraded Jetpack to 1.8 this morning, though as best I can tell the rest of Jetpack is still working (feedback forms, etc) and I did hit my dashboard/stats a few times after the upgrade and nothing seemed to be awry. One short commute to work later and I have no stats.

Is this a known issue? Is something happening server-side that's affecting WP's stats API or something? How do I resolve this?
