That was the dashboard, timethief, not the new Stats page.

It seems someone has done the same thing - arbitrarily changing the minimum width - and I'm hoping the stats page issue is resolved in a similar way.

I use a netbook, not a computer, and i have not got a clue about the browser window size. Thanks anyway, i think i'll just have to leave it as it is, and put up with it.

The bottom line here is that it's your screen resolution size that needs to be adjusted in order to have the 2 column display.

The Dashboard is going to remain responsive based on the size of the browser window, but the minimum width has been dropped to 850px, which is basically the point at which the editor breaks the layout in 2-column view anyway.

So, as long as your browser window is at least 850px wide, you'll still see both columns. If you decrease the width below 850px, the layout will switch to single column to better accommodate the editor.

24 hours IS a long time when you've waited for a staff reply that will never arrive because the thread was not actually tagged for staff. Thanks for the link but i have not altered anything with my screen resolution, nor anything else...and why would other people also have the same problem.

I've waited 20 hours for a reply from staff, and i accept it's the week-end, and so there are not many staff available...but, if this is flagged for staff response as timethief says, why is there no modlook tag on it? Have i waited 20 hours in vain?

Thanks timethief, but it's none of those reasons for me. It's certainly annoying having everything on the left though, with a huge blank space on the right, it plays havoc with the eyes. Is it perhaps a new update? By the way, i'm using the latest Firefox.

If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

Same for me. If it's yet another update to improve things it's failed greatly. Now we have to scroll, scroll, scroll, and are left with half a page that's just blank! Where's the sense in that? I have tried putting the boxes back on the right but they jump right back again to the left.

Low, low priority, I know, but why is my Stats page suddenly forcing everything into one really tall column beneath the bar chart? (There used to be two columns side-by-side, now there's just one and a big empty space.) Any ideas...?
