I am operating a WPMU or multisite-wordpress installation on http://blog-net.ch. I find that getting rid of SPAM blog registrations is a real chore. Just recently, I found that I am being molested from a domain called "http://www.saleworking.de/", or rather the emails of users registering have @saleworking.de-addresses. When visiting that site, I find a download link pointing to http://linkfarmevolution.com/

Is there no way to stop that kind of business? Is there nothing that can be done against such a business model? Against such a domain?

They claim, for example, to have CAPTCHA-breaking code:
"Our captcha-breaking service does not care whether it's reCaptcha or just plain numbers — as long as it's a JPEG image with letters and digits in it, it will be cracked."

Does that mean we can just about forget CAPTCHAs and we need to invent new and better means to avoid automatic registrations?
