I do not want those buttons given by wordpress by default. Those are sharing buttons. but I am looking for an answer for like fblike, retweet and stumbleupon with counter or bubble counter option. Is this possible?

I deliberately choose not to display any sharing buttons on the front pages post entries on my blogs. I want people to actually read the full posts and even comment prior to clicking any buttons.

You're right. This theme is not designed to display full posts on the front page.

In my understanding this will NEVER show your share buttons on the front page, because they go at the bottom of the posts.

I've tried to find the Plugins area to create the share button but that seems to be missing as well!

There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot intsall plugins, upload third-party themes or edit templates or themes. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

Go to your Dashboard->Settings->Sharing and add the buttons you want into the Active Sharing box. Note that the counters are inaccurate. That's simply the nature of the beast.
