Actually, this is not really the theme specific issue. The shortcode format you have in the post is no longer works here. I'll note the support doc needs to be updated.

In the meantime, I suggest to change this

[blip.tv http://blip.tv/play/AYLs0wMC?p=1 width="550" height="443"]

to

[blip.tv http://blip.tv/play/AYLs0wMC]

I switched over "Sundance" theme because of it's beauty and the video theme features. Unfortunate I could not embed videos from blip.tv. In contrast the theme, supports youtube.com videos.
I tried both ways (link or code) that are described here http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/bliptv/ but it want show up in the post and carousel.

If you head over my blog you will see that the 1s and last post on Carousel doesn't show the videos in carousel. The first has blip.tv embedded video the second and third youtube videos and the last one has videos from youtube but they are not put on before the <more> tag and so they are not shown on carousel. The above articles are all sticky and in video format posts, as required by the properties of the theme.

So is this a bug, or can I use a workaround to embedd blip.tv videos in the Sundance theme ?
