Don't you think those pictures are oversize?

Photographer like to showcase their photo, in the largest possible size. I tried to read more, and found there are a lot of premium design theme for photographer that show full size photo, eg: King Size theme. (refer: http://wordpressphotographythemes.com/30-most-popular-wordpress-photography-themes-on-themeforest.html) By the way, I am not the blog owner, but their post is good example of wordpress theme for photography.

Thus, I created this topic to see what other opinion on this. Just want to see whether majority like thumbnail, or full size showcase type, or just a page with all the photos.

Agree on you.. I like big size photo that proper resize for webpage, but not to those oversize photo that the author never resize it before upload.

I see. Yup, with all large image in 1 post, and the main page showing full post may took up a lot of bandwidth to load it.
What if the main page only show 1 photo, and added "read more" tag if reader like to view the rest of it....

There are 2 kind of photo blog, from my HO. 1 is daily post, and 2 is album / set type.

Personally I prefer album / set type.

My question: Do you prefer the photoblog that show a single photo, or those that show full set of the album in thumbnail or full size?

I do like photoblogs that provide thunbnail images which I can click and see at full size if I want to. I do not like photoblogs with huge images in each post and.or multiple large images in posts and/or too many posts with large images on the main page for blogs as it takes too long for those blogs to load.

Hi all,
There are couple of different theme designed for photography showcase. Example Triton Lite, Modularity Lite, Nishita, Photography and etc (those are free theme available in WordPress.com).
My question: Do you prefer the photoblog that show a single photo, or those that show full set of the album in thumbnail or full size?

I personally prefer to show all photos in album, instead of single photo type. Anyway, there are multiple method to showcase photos, and share the example of blog you feel it easy for photo viewing.
And, do you mind to view photos in small size, or big photo size that take long loading time?
