The support we provide here is only for the version of the Tarski theme that's coded to run on our software.

Also note that here at WordPress.com we are limited when it comes to unpaid options font changes. To change fonts throughout our free hosted blogs requires and annually renewable custom design upgrade. But WordPress.org bloggers do not have the same limitations.

How do I edit the menu font size in the Tarski theme?

In a WordPress.com free hosted blog the correct answer to that questions is:

You must purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade and complete the CSS editing work required to change the menu font size in any of our themes here.

These are 3 ways to change fonts on WordPress.com blogs.

(1) Changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page by coding into the HTML editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/font-size-color/

(2) Changing font colors in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page using the #4 icon (Select text color – change the text color) in Row 2 the Visual editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2

(3) Changing all font families, colors and sizes throughout the whole blog by purchasing an annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and using Typekit Fonts with Staff support.

Note: Any font changes to font families, colors and size in the blog title, tagline, post titles, page titles, menus, categories and tags cannot be done without CSS editing.

The good news is that as yours is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog, but is a WordPress.org install, you are not subject to this limitation. All support for the version of the Tarski theme ycoded to run on Wordrpress.org software is here > http://wordpress.org/support/forum/themes-and-templates

I did not know there was a difference. The two "wordpress" site logos look similar and I thought they were the same thing. Moreover, there is support for the "tarski" theme on this site, just nothing about fonts.

Did you notice that thescaredpath and Staff answer almost all CSS Forum questions? The question thesacredpath posted is a relevant one. Until drivendesignsolutions provides the URL to the site in question no accurate or helpful answers can be provided. 30% of those who post here are lost and ought to be posting to http://wordpress.org/support rather than posting here at all. The two sites run on different software. The themes are coded differently. The answers to the questions are not the same. They vary depending on the software being used.

In this case drivendesignsolutions has only been a member for an hour. We do not have the relevant URL and we do not know whether or not s(he) has purchased a custom design upgrade. Without the upgrade the answer to the question if it does indeed apply to a free hosted WordPress.com blog is: "You cannot change the font size on a custom menu without a custom design upgrade, as CSS editing is required."
