The numbers eeuweberg suggested are also wrong.

But the essence of eeuweberg's observation is correct. And I can easily convert the above flash code into a working solution. Problem is, it's for a different video. The one you wanted doesn't seem to provide a flash code, it provides an iframe code (which can't be converted).

I tried everything you said, step by step (my max width is 418, so that's what I put in the 526 place), but sadly it still doesn't work.

This is what happens: I change the dimensions, paste the code (in text mode), then save the post. And after saving, the code is gone and leaves a big blank in the actual post. Tried it several times, but the code just disappears afters saving.

That way you can manually change the dimensions,although it's not as simple as with a youtube video.

There are 2 sets of dimensions (see code beneath post). you have to change 2 times.. The way I do it is pasting it in notepad and use the search and replace function.

First one is 526 x 347
second one is 512 x 288

For your website it should be something like this.

first one should become 410 x 230
second one should become 396 x 200

Don't know if thats the correct size, you should just try arround a bit.

I wouldn't mind the same features (black background, tabs in top, calm header) in a slightly wider theme (i.e. without the left sidebar), but since that doesn't exist, I want Emire.

That said, I just want the video to work on my blog. Just like all the other video's do.

I tried resizing it in several codes like:

I also tried it *without* the lang=nl (which activates the subtitles), all to no avail.

Because I didn't want to publicize my post that way, I put it on a hidden page, so you can see what I mean.

I embed quite some video's from different sources (I also have the videopress upgrade), but this has never occured before. This is the first time I tried a TED Talk. How can I fix it?
