The div solution won't do in your case; I was referring to the table code as a possible model.

In your post you've got several table rows in which you've set table data to 300; with two data per row, that makes 600 I'm afraid! You even have a table with the total table width set to 600.

The beginning of your tables should be this - with no other width indications whatsoever in td or tr tags:

<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" width="100%">

And you've got to downsize the 244px long images.

Interesting idea with the div tags...however I couldn't get the text to go to the next row. The text just simply started where the first text left off. Without inserting lots of returns, how can I remedy this?

And I set my width value to 300px, smaller than the max width of 420...that's why I'm stumped as to why it's extending beyond 420 px, when I manually set it smaller than the max width.

(I mean for starters; you need multiple table rows, but you don't need setting width values.)

"I've tried controlling it with setting various width values for my table and td tags, but that hasn't had any effect." Oh yes it had: it had the effect you're complaining about, because you have exceeded the maximum of the theme you're using, which is 420px.

Where did you create the table? If your intention was simply having two columns, maybe you should check this post of mine:

Hi all,

I'm using the Benevolence theme. One thing I've noticed is that my text is running off the page. I've tried controlling it with setting various width values for my table and td tags, but that hasn't had any effect.

It may be controllable via CSS, but I don't have CSS editing access (i.e. free only). Is there anything I can do via HTML to cause the text to wrap, besides inserting hard returns after every line?

I added a border to table to illustrate how the right side has disappeared off the page.
