I can't see the connection really, I'll have to think about it as I was thinking of getting a private domain registration myself (and possibly later transferring to a self-hosted account, but not immediately) but I can't see that having a link to a blog in a profile would be any problem.

I have noticed some people who are known to me as having blogs on their own domains do not choose to include links to their blogs on their gravatar profile pages.

For example, there are some people who have "masked domains" ie. private domain registration. There are others who have only gravatar or WordPress.com usernames and no blogs.

The only way I see right now is the method you specified and the notifications which show up on the top-right. The notifications work somewhat as they provide links to their blogs, but then again you can't access older notifications.

Maybe they should make a section within the dashboard where you can see all your notifications.

usernamefoundingravatar.wordpress.com

replacing 'usernamefoundingravatar' with the actual username you've found in their gravatar profile!

And yes, I totally agree with you, 90% of people don't post their blog info in their Gravatar profile. It's very frustrating but a lot of people don't realise that it doesn't get there automatically!

How does one find their WordPress blog link? It seems 90% of people don't post up their blog info on their Gravatar profile.
