Or you can go to Appearance > Header and momentarily select and display the ones you want to delete one at a time and click "Remove Header Image"
Remove Image
This will remove the header image. You will not be able to restore any customizations.

Over time I've uploaded and used a number of different headers (currently reduced to a narrow band only a few pixels high). I'd like to try rotating headers, but can't find a way to delete those headers I don't want in the rotation. Anyone know a way to do this?
