This works for me.
To restore your original css:
(1) Copy all the css from the css editor and paste it into a text file on your computer and save it for later use.
(2) Delete all the css out of the css editor.
(3) Select "Add to existing stylesheet" and then click "Save Changes".

Yes, I mean, I thought I was doing that. I copied the whole modified CSS I had for my Regulus theme and saved that somewhere and then deleted everything from the CSS box. Then I went into the style sheet after changing to say, Rounded, and copied the stylesheet and then pasted it into the empty CSS box. Is that right??

so confused....

did you delete the previous css changes you made? when you change to a new theme, you have to erase whatever css changes you made for the previous theme you used, otherwise it may mess up the look of the new theme.

I'm having a little trouble. I have been using a Regulus theme that I have previously edited the CSS for. (I'm very amateur at this, and about nine months ago I got into it and sort of knew what I was doing, but since I haven't touched it, so I'm rusty I guess...)

Anyway, my problem is, I was playing around with other themes, because I want to change things up a bit, and I don't seem to be able to get the other themes to look right. I think I have to copy the text in the style sheet after I change to a new them and then copy that into the blank CSS box to get any other theme to show correctly, but none except the really simple ones seem to look right.

For example, I switched for a bit to the misty theme, and uploaded a new header photo and no matter what I do it doesn't show up. Then, for the heck of it, I changed to Rounded, and the graphic stuff in the header doesn't show up, although all the colors and seemingly most of the other things look okay. I don't know what is going on. Does anyone have any idea? Sorry for the convoluted question, you can tell I just stumble through all this! :)
