Bless you, bless you for the huge sacrifice YOU are making for the mission. I am a military mom, daughter, sister and grandmother who has cared for a little one during multiple deployments for my dual service daughter and son-in-law. I turned my worry (about 14 years ago) into action to support the troops and their families that were experiencing military life as I was. It led to the founding of our non-profit United We Serve and the Battle Buddy project. For any of us to survive we need those life giving, life saving relationships that just get us through each day. I doubt as much. Please, whether you are a father, mother, daughter, son, brother, sister, girlfriend, or friend to a marine, no matter the connection, it is our duty to support one another. They are brothers in arms and we are family in love. I would like to know if there are any other blogs out there about marines and such, I'd love to read them.

My own blog is a collection of letters I've written to a marine I'm in love with.
