Go to settings > writing and right at the top, change the number of lines to show in the editor.

You can also while on the editor page grab the lower right-hand corner of the text box and drag it down to whatever length you want.

It doesn't make sense to me that it's not big enough to even display a whole photo. So claustrophobic. I compose in Word, then copy and paste my text into WordPress. But even then, inserting photos into my post is a pain. Can you make the window bigger please? Am I overlooking an option somewhere?
